Ballys Hotel Las Vegas
Bally's
Hotel Las Vegas has a great location on the
Strip. It's next to the Paris and across the street from the Bellagio
and Caesar's Palace. To get to the Paris you never have to leave the casino.
There is a large hall connecting the two casinos. In the hall are shops and restaurants.
If you walk to the south from Bally's, you can easily get to the "Planet
Hollywood" (formerly the Aladdin)
and the New York-New York. To the north, it's a few minutes walk to Caesar's,
the Mirage and Treasure Island. There is also a monorail stop
at Bally's/Paris if you don't feel like walking. It will take all the way up to the
Sahara.
Ballys Hotel people mover goes directly from the hotel to the Strip.
I recommend you stay in the North Tower at Bally's Hotel
Las Vegas. Even the standard rooms are large. They are also newer and very clean.
Bathrooms are marble and granite. Complimentary toiletries are by Gilchrist and Soames.
Outside the bathroom is a sitting room with a mirror, perfect for doing your hair
or putting your make-up on. Trays of food are not left out in the hallway for hours.
Maid service is thorough and fast. The staff at check-in is helpful and friendly.
Even a standard room at Bally's seems larger than a standard room at Treasure Island
or even Planet Hollywood. The beds are comfortable and the room comes with an armoire,
TV set, a desk and a granite top work station. Windows are large but could use a little
cleaning. Elevators are fast and clean. Bally's is not as expensive as some
of the other hotels in the vicinity. So for this location, it's a great deal. Their
breakfast buffet has a wide variety of choices and is very tasty. You can ask for
omelets made just the way you like them. You can also get your morning coffee at the
Java Coast across the way from the registration desk. Nosh is another convenient coffee
shop with made-to-order sandwiches and is located in the South Tower. For relaxation,
Bally's Hotel Las Vegas has a beautiful lounge called the Indigo Lounge where you
can dance to the cool sounds of soul and R&B bands. In the hallway between Bally's
and Paris you should try Le Burger Brasserie. Large portions, great burgers and fries
and you can sit at the bar and watch the sports games. A popular place. If you are
picky when it comes to cleanliness and comfort you will enjoy staying at Bally's
Hotel Las Vegas.
