new york new york hotel in las vegas has the most risqué cirque du soleil show - by Kiki

New York New York Hotel in Las Vegas

New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas if you haven't seen it, it's modeled after New York City landmarks. Out front, the New York harbor (pool size) has been replicated with the Statue of Liberty (half size), the Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Terminal and other well-known landmarks. The architecture of the hotel resembles New York City skyscrapers with smaller duplications of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. If you like theme casinos in Vegas, you'll also like the Excalibur, the Paris and Caesar's Palace.

Insider Secret - Shy? Embarrassed? First date? Be aware that Zumanity, the Cirque du Soleil show at the NY, NY is a topless, sexually driving show. It explores many types of partner pairings with acrobatics, dance and music.

The New York, New York has a variety of entertainment to satisfy Mom, Dad, the kids and romantic couples. A roller coaster travels both inside and outside the casino and peaks at 203 feet above the Strip. If you are a thrill seeker, also check out the roller coaster at the Sahara Hotel Las Vegas NV which peaks at 224 feet and 3 breathtaking rides at the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas.

The casino area is known as Central Park and the Village Eateries are reproductions of famous Greenwich Village. The atmosphere in the casino is high-energy and intense just like New York City. The casino floor is not as vast as the Venetian but it gets busy when you want to play the slots and table games, so start your gaming early. Drink service is timely and waitresses are generous if you tip well.

The ESPN Zone at the New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas is geared for sports entertainment. If you've visited other ESPN Zones around the country you know they are large sport-themed restaurants with video arcades, TV studios and even radio studios. This is where you go to get rowdy, eat some all-American food at the Studio Grill and sit back in a lazy-boy chair with access to all your favorite sports games on multiple TVs.

There is only one permanent show at the New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas. It's a "Cirque du Soleil" show called Zumanity. You must be 18 or older to see it due to its burlesque, cabaret and topless nature. A drag queen, Joey Arias from New York City is the master of ceremonies.

Zumanity is chock full of sexual innuendoes and explores different types of partner pairings from young romance to bawdiness with acrobatics, dance, music and flair. I don't recommend it if you get embarrassed easily or if you are taking someone out on a first date. You can choose to sit on a cabaret stool, sofa or regular theater seats depending on the price of your ticket. For an interactive Cabaret experience in the style of Bette Midler and Liza Minelli, go see Kiki Kalor. Entertainment is unique at the New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas.
