Spend you time together picking their brains for pools, parks, best golf course, local restaurants and anything else you want to learn about in the community you will soon be living in. You may end up sharing a lot in common and making a much needed friend, who can introduce you to community leaders as well as make important business connections.

Savvy buyers will go to auctions, short sales and foreclosures. Bidding can start very, very low at these regularly held auctions. But you must have earnest money on you, which is a cashiers check for 5% of what you bid on to make your offer stick.
