graceland chapel will treat you like family - by Kiki

Graceland Chapel

Graceland Chapel is a landmark chapel that represents Las Vegas weddings. It is the first chapel to have an Elvis wedding. It's been in Vegas for over 50 years and is considered historic. Many celebrities have gotten married there like Jon Bon Jovi and Billy Ray Cyrus. Jay Leno has visited the chapel and it's been featured in several films like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with Johnny Depp.

When you think of Graceland Chapel you think of Elvis. He will walk you down the aisle, give you away, sing to you and recite his special humorous vows to both you and the groom. To end the ceremony Elvis will sing 'Viva Las Vegas' so guests can get up and dance.

This chapel specializes in weddings, photography, limousine service, Las Vegas wedding florists, DVDs, ceremony broadcast via the Internet and celebrity weddings. It was established in 1941 and is family-owned. So when you want to be treated special, like family, this is the chapel for you.

In 2007, they were voted the best wedding chapel in Las Vegas. They are conveniently located just 4 blocks from the marriage bureau. So, since there's no waiting period after you receive your Las Vegas marriage licence you can swing over to Graceland Chapel and get married right away.

About 13% of visitors who come to Vegas come from out of the country. It makes sense to cater to these folks who speak other languages. To make it easy, your wedding at Graceland can take place in Spanish, French, German or of course English. I can tell you that you don't find too many chapels that do weddings in other languages besides English.

This chapel is popular because it epitomizes what a chapel should look like - white steeple rooftop and romantic. It is not attached to Las Vegas casinos. But you'd better book early because it's one of the most popular chapels in Vegas and it gets booked fast.

If you just want to renew your vows, you can do that too. Renewal ceremonies are becoming very popular. Be over-the-top, bring in live camels, like Celine Dion did at Caesar's Palace when she renewed her vows.

To book, you need to put down a non-refundable deposit and pay the balance on your wedding day. Some basic rules apply in Las Vegas chapels. Don't forget to bring your marriage license and you will also need at least one witness other than the minister who is marrying you.

As far as chapels go, this chapel is considered one of the least expensive in Vegas. A traditional package includes use of the chapel, 3 rose boutonnieres, music, photography and a marriage certificate holder. The minister's fee is usually not included. They are open seven days a week. Another great reason to get married in Graceland Chapel.
